PITTSBURGH —There’s little doubt Pittsburghers love going out for good food. But that often translates into long waits at popular restaurants, many of which do not take reservations. Now a Pittsburgh-born idea is offering a solution to that problem that’s as close as your cellphone.
At Mercurio’s on Walnut Street in Shadyside, you can get your pizza any way you’d like. The one thing you can’t get is a reservation. But thanks to a new app called NoWait, restaurants can offer a system for customers to be seated with virtually no wait without investing in expensive and cumbersome reservation systems.
