Returns of the ill-fitting shoes create customer frustration, spew additional carbon dioxide (approximately 8,500 tons) into the atmosphere, and cost retailers more than $600 million in 2008 alone.
Enter Shoefitr, an online shoe-fitting startup created by three Carnegie Mellon alumni: Nick End, CIT’06; Breck Fresen, SCS’09; and Matt Wilkinson, CIT’06.
