A year after an undisclosed angel round, Uptown start-up Careerimp Inc. made its first acquisition, taking over the assets of the Regional Internship Center of Southwestern Pennsylvania from the Coro Center for Civic Leadership.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Careerimp, which developed Resunate, a web-based resume improvement tool, intends to maintain the Regional Internship Center’s internship job board, said Mona Abdel-Halim, director of sales and marketing.
