There were more ties than normal at AlphaLab Tuesday morning.

The typically casual startup accelerator kicked it up a notch for a meeting with members of the President’s Council on Jobs and Competitiveness. With the likes of Steve Case in attendance and other members of the administration, needless to say it was more formal than usual.

There may have been important people in the room, but there was still work to be done at AlphaLab’s startups and developers at MakerCraft and VitalClip were hard at work while the meeting was going on.
