About Innovation Works
AlphaLab was created by Innovation Works (IW), the Pittsburgh region's largest and most active seed-stage investor. Since the inception of its seed fund in 2000, IW has invested more than $40 million in almost 120 technology startups in the Pittsburgh region. IW's portfolio companies have gone on to raise more than $600 million from technology investors across the United States.
